I can get everything placed inside that I need day-to-day with plenty of wiggle room. Of course, this is a compact handbag but it is deceptively roomy inside. It has already fitted perfectly into my life and I know I’ll get so much use out of it. This is my kind of bag, I love a great functional crossbody. The classic design means it’s a great bag for so many people. Gucci launched this bag in 2014 and it has definitely stood the test of time. I love the structured design and it feels sturdy enough to retain its shape use after use. She can be casual day-to-day, shopping, or brunch dates while also perfect for evening cocktails with the girls. I feel that this bag is really well thought out and functional whilst also being both stylish and chic. It lends itself perfectly to any outfit and any occasion. It is the simplicity of this bag that I adore. The off white inside fabric feels thick and durable and I feel it would be hard-wearing against our day-to-day bag contents. On one pocket you have a small leather tag with the brand name on in the same leather as the bag. On the inside, it is one large compartment with two small slip pockets stitched into the main fabric. The leather feels really high quality and with it having the pebbled texture I feel like it would be really hard-wearing and durable too. It has soft muted gold hardware and a black leather tassel from the zip. The material is made from natural grain leather with the interlocking GG embossed on the front. We are seeing a lot more compact bags like this one but I do feel this one is the iconic camera bag style that started the trend off. I feel that bags like this are classic and timeless designs that never go out of style. Occasionally Gucci released other limited edition seasonal colours. She comes in three colours, black, which is what I have, nude and red. The design is a simple rectangular crossbody style with an adjustable strap. I’m so excited to finally own this beauty. I felt so overwhelmed by it my eyes teared up.
Jack went above and beyond when he surprised me with this. Could it be? Surely not?! Sure enough, it was. I suddenly felt my heart race increasing and butterflies setting in. A beautiful black and white box complete with a hand-tied bow looking back at me. My love for this bag was no secret and on Christmas morning as I was unwrapping my final gift, what should I see. I am of course talking about the Gucci Soho Disco Bag. After deciding that it had been on my wish list for long enough I was all set to head to Edinburgh and make her mine. I had been lusting after this bag for the longest time. Luxury anything actually, but handbags are my vice. I’ve developed something of a penchant for handbags of late, luxury handbags specifically.
